MAGNETIC RECORDING MEDIUM, MANUFACTURING METHOD THEREOF, AND HDD ADOPTING THE SAME

PURPOSE: A magnetic recording medium, a manufacturing method thereof, and an HDD(Hard Disk Driver) adopting the same are provided to increase saturation magnetization and obtain favorable negative nucleation fields. CONSTITUTION: A spindle motor(14) is coupled to a base plate(16). The magnetic recording medium(12) comprises a substrate, the first magnetic material layer including iron, hafnium and nitrogen, a mid layer placed on the first magnetic material layer, and the second magnetic material layer placed on the mid layer, and is coupled to the spindle motor. An actuator arm(24) is installed to the base plate. A voice coil motor(32) is coupled to the actuator arm. A flexure arm(22) is coupled to the actuator arm. A head(20) is coupled to the flexure arm and the magnetic recording medium.
