Zusammenfassung:PURPOSE: A method for storing data using a globally distributed storage system, a program and a recording medium for realizing the same on a computer, and a controller on the globally distributed storage system are provided to enhance security of the data by dividing the data into a plurality of volumes and distributing/storing each volume to each storage, as the storage optimized to a node side is selected. CONSTITUTION: A path management part(504) calculates an evaluation value representing suitability as a target for each distributed storage based on a bandwidth, a communication expense, a physical distance between the mode and the storage. A storage set management part(505) selects the optimal storage set from the distributed storages based on the evaluation value.
