PLASTIC COMPOSITION HAVING MULTIPLE FUNCTIONS AND PREPARATION METHOD THEREOF

PURPOSE: A plastic composition having multiple functions and its preparation method are provided, to obtain a plastic composition having an antibacterial effect and far infrared rays-radiating effect. CONSTITUTION: The plastic composition comprises 100 parts by weight of a plastic material containing a thermoplastic plastic material; and 0.01-10 parts by weight of a silver/silica nanocomposite material with an average particle size of 50 nm or less. The method comprises the steps of preparing a silver/silica nanocomposite dispersion containing silver and silica, a first plastic material containing a thermoplastic plastic material and a second plastic material containing a thermoplastic plastic material; mixing the silver/silica nanocomposite dispersion and the first plastic material to prepare a master batch; and mixing the master batch and the second plastic material to prepare the plastic composition. Preferably the plastic material contains at least one dispersion stabilizer selected from the group consisting of zinc stearate, an amide-based wax, a polyethylene-based wax, a polypropylene-based wax and calcium stearate.
