ROPE-REGULATING DEVICE FOR ELEVATOR

PURPOSE: A rope-regulating device for an elevator is provided to sharply reduce the unit cost by making the damping device thin and simplifying the constitution, prevent distortion by supporting a driving shaft at three regions of a housing, and improve the regulating performance by uniformly distributing pressing force. CONSTITUTION: A rope-regulating device for an elevator has multistage ropes for drawing a loading car of the elevator, and a regulating brake operating between the ropes. The rope-regulating device for the elevator comprises a housing(30) having a partition(31) formed to the middle part of the inside; driving shafts(40) movably mounted to the housing; a movable plate(50) connected to one end of the driving shafts; and a casing(60) fixed to the driving shafts. In the housing, a fixed brake(32) and a plunger(33) are installed on the sides of the partition. The driving shaft moves horizontally and elastically. The movable plate has a movable brake(52) mounted oppositely to the fixed brake around ropes(51). The casing receives the plunger mounted to the partition of the housing.
