Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE: A polarization plate including a light scattering film and a substrate for a liquid crystal display and a liquid crystal display are provided to minimize gray inversion and at the same time to remove character breaking. CONSTITUTION: The substrate for a liquid crystal display has a pixel area arranged in a matrix form, and includes a filler(423) which is a scattering particle inducing a light scattering value. The filler is distributed with a different density from the pixel area and a boundary part of the pixel area. The filler is distributed with a lower density than that of the pixel area at the boundary part of the pixel area. 본 발명에 따른 액정 표시 장치에는 화소 영역에 적(R), 녹(G), 청(B)의 컬러 필터가 순차적으로 배열되어 있다. 이때, 광산란막의 산란 입자인 필러는 그물 모양으로 분포되어 있는데, 화소 영역 사이의 경계 부분에는 화소 영역과 비교하여 낮은 밀도를 가지도록 대각선 방향으로 분포되어 있다.
