| Zusammenfassung: | PURPOSE: A cover plate and a method for manufacturing the same are provided to achieve improved strength and safety of the cover plate, while reducing process time. CONSTITUTION: A method for manufacturing a cover plate comprises a step of performing a stepping process on the portion where an absorbent is inserted, by performing a sanding process on the selectively patterned portion; and a step of performing a wet etching process on the selectively patterned portion so as to form a stepped portion for protecting a light emitting element, wherein the stepped portion has a depth of approximately 100 microns.
