PURPOSE: A hard disc drive with an improved gasket is provided to restrain the transmission of vibration via a coupling part for reducing the noise emitted to the outside by improving the structure of a gasket. CONSTITUTION: A hard disc drive with an improved gasket includes a base(110), a cover(120) coupled with the base by screws(500), and a gasket(300) interposed between the base and the cover. The gasket is fitted into a receiving groove(121) of the cover, and blocks the gap between the cover and the base communicated to an internal space formed by the receiving groove and a top surface of the base. The gasket has ununiform thickness through the entire length and is formed in a closed loop. The positions of the gasket adjacent to the screw-coupling positions between the base and the cover are thicker than any other positions. In the screw-coupling positions, the vibration transmission becomes relatively larger than any other positions owing to the screws.
