PURPOSE: A keyboard device implementing multiple characters and an inputting method therefor are provided to consist of consonant keyboard units, vowel keyboard units, a subscript button for displaying double consonants, and a Chinese character button for displaying Chinese characters, thereby easily displaying characters. CONSTITUTION: A character keyboard(100) comprises as follows. Consonant keyboard units(210) separate buttons in predetermined type to input basic consonant groups consisting of 10 consonants. Vowel keyboard units(220) arrange 3 basic vowel buttons to complete characters by combining with the consonant keyboard units(210). A subscript button(230) combines with each button of the consonant keyboard units(210), and displays double consonants.
