Zusammenfassung:PURPOSE: An intelligent network service system using the location information of a mobile terminal and a method therefor are provided to connect the call between a calling subscriber as a service user and a called subscriber as the nearest service provider by using the location information of a mobile communication network. CONSTITUTION: A mobile system consists of an SRNC(Serving Radio Network Controller)/SMLC(Serving Mobile Location Center)(6), an MSC(Mobile Switch Center)/VLR(Visitor Location Register)(8), an SMSC(Short Message Service Center)/CBC(Cell Broadcasting Center)(10), an HLR(Home Location Center)(12), an SCP(Service Control Point)(14), a GMLC(Gateway Mobile Location Center)(16), and an IP(Intelligent Peripheral)(18). The SRNC(6) controls the signals between a calling subscriber(2a) as an intelligent network service user and a called subscriber(2b) as an intelligent network service provider through base stations(4a,4b). The SMLC(6) calculates the location of the calling subscriber(2a). The MSC(8) connects the service call between the calling subscriber(2a) and the called subscriber(2b). The VLR(8) provides the called subscriber's roaming number. The SMSC/CBC(10) transmits an intelligent network service request notification message to the called subscriber's terminal. The HLR(12) provides the routing information of the called subscriber(2b). The SCP(14) controls the intelligent network service. The GMLC(16) searches for the information of the nearest base station to the calling subscriber(2a) according to the location of the calling subscriber(2a). The IP(18) provides a voice information service to the calling subscriber(2a). 본 발명은 이동 통신망의 위치 정보를 이용한 지능망 서비스 시스템 및 그 방법에 관한 것으로, 이동 통신망(셀룰러, PCS(Personal Communications Services), IMT-2000(International Mobile Telecommunications-2000))에서 제공되는 발신자의 위치 정보에 기초하여, 발신자와 가장 가까운 착신자의 호를 연결하도록 함으로써 다양한 서비스를 제공하는 것이다.
