A COMPOSITION FOR CURATIVE AND PROPHYLACTIC TREATMENT OF PREMATURE EJACULATION COMPRISING PURIFIED EXTRACTS OF BUFONIS BENENUM AND GINSENG WITHOUT OTHER ESSENTIAL OILS

PURPOSE: A composition containing a Bufonis venenum extract and a ginseng extract without other essential oils is provided. The composition inhibits smooth muscle contraction of bufodienolide as a medicinal component of Bufonis venenum thus prolongs the duration of sexual intercourse while reducing adverse effect such as erectile dysfunction. CONSTITUTION: A pharmaceutical composition for prevention and treatment of premature ejaculation contains 0.01 to 3% by weight of a Bufonis venenum extract and 0.01 to 5% by weight of a ginseng extract containing saponin as a main ingredient without other essential oils, based on the total weight of the composition. The Bufonis venenum extract is obtained by extracting in one or more solvents selected from the group consisting of ethylacetate, dichloromethane and chloroform. The ginseng extract is obtained by extracting in ethanol and then subjecting to solvent fraction or column chromatography. 본 발명은 섬수 정제 엑스 및 사포닌을 주성분으로 한 인삼 정제 엑스를 함께 함유하면서 다른 정유 생약 성분은 함유하지 않는 것을 특징으로 하는 조루증의 예방 및 치료용 조성물에 관한 것이다.
