Oil calculating apparatus

PURPOSE: An apparatus for measuring the amount of engine oil of an oil pan is provided to accurately measure the amount of engine oil in an oil pan even if the surface of oil is inclined due to a slope. CONSTITUTION: A float(4) is installed on oil surface(3) of engine oil(2). The float moves upward and downward along the level of the oil surface. A specific amount of engine oil(5) is received in the float. Upper and lower gap sensors(8,9) for measuring the inclination of the float are installed on a lever(7). A rack gear(10) is prepared on the upper end of the lever. The rack gear is engaged with a pinion gear(11). An indication needle(14) of a rheostat(13) is mounted on a rotating shaft(12) of the pinion gear. The amount of the engine oil is outputted depending on a resistance and the inclination of the float. The amount of the engine oil is indicated by an engine oil gauge(17). 본 발명의 목적은 차량이 경사면에 위치하여 오일유면이 기울어지더라도 정확하게 오일팬내의 엔진오일량을 측정할 수 있는 오일팬내의 엔진오일량 측정장치를 제공하는 데 있다. 이를위해 본 발명은 오일팬내의 오일의 유면에 추종하여 상하로 이동하는 플로우트와; 상기 플로우트에 힌지로 회동가능한 구조로 연결되는 레버와; 상기 레버에 플로우트와의 상대거리를 측정하여 플로우트의 기울어짐각을 검출하는 상하 갭센서와; 상기 레버의 상단에 수직방향으로 형성되는 래크기어와; 상기 래크기어와 맞물려 회전하는 피니언기어와; 상기 피니언기어의 회전각에 따라 저항값이 변화하는 가변저항기와; 상기 상하 갭센서에 의한 플로우트의 기울어짐각과 가변저항기의 저항값을 엔진오일량으로 변환하는 전자제어장치와; 상기 전자제어장치로부터의 엔진오일량의 변환 정보를 시각적으로 표시하여 나타내는 엔진오일량 지시계; 를 포함하여 구성되어 있는 것을 특징으로 한다.
