SEALED BATTERY

PURPOSE: To provide a sealed battery with a lead-out terminal formed by calking of excellent sealing characteristics. CONSTITUTION: An electrode terminal for the sealed battery has an insulating member arranged for coating the inside face of a penetrating hole fitted on a metal plate sealing an opening part of a battery can and both faces of the metal plate around the penetrating hole, a lead-out plate arranged on a face of the insulating member located at an outside face of the battery, and is calked by an electrode lead-out pin penetrating the penetrating hole on the lead-out plate. A contact face of the electrode lead-out pin with an insulating member- side face of a flange part has at least a convex part. 봉구 특성이 양호한 코킹에 의해 형성한 전극 인출 단자를 가지는 밀폐형 전지를 제공하는 것으로, 밀폐형 전지에 있어서, 전지통의 개구부를 봉구하는 금속판에 설치한 관통 구멍의 내면, 및 관통 구멍 주위의 금속판의 양면을 피복하는 절연성 부재가 배치되고, 절연성 부재의 전지 외면에 위치하는 면 상에 전극 인출판이 배치되고, 전극 인출판의 관통 구멍을 관통한 전극 도출 핀에 의해 코킹된 전극 단자로, 전극 도출 핀의 플랜지부의 절연성 부재면과의 접촉면에는 적어도 볼록부를 가지는 밀폐형 전지.
