Zusammenfassung: | PURPOSE: A method of preparing a polyvinyl alcohol microfibril staple fiber is provided to make commercial mass production by using methanol for saponification. CONSTITUTION: In a method of preparing a polyvinyl alcohol microfibril staple fiber, a copolymer of poly(vinyl pivalate/vinyl acetate) is saponified in the presence of a solvent of methanol, and a saponification solution selected from aqueous solutions of sodium hydroxide, potassium hydroxide and lithium hydroxide while making the shearing speed be controlled to be in the range of 20-10,000rpm. The saponification solution contains 0.005-0.07mol of sodium hydroxide, potassium hydroxide or lithium hydroxide and 0.01-0.8mol of water with respect to 1g of the copolymer of poly(vinyl pivalate/vinyl acetate).
본 발명은 폴리비닐알코올 마이크로피브릴 단섬유의 제조방법에 관한 것으로서, 더욱 상세하게는 방사 및 연신 등의 공정을 거치지 않고 교대배열된 폴리(피발산비닐/아세트산비닐) 공중합체를 비누화하는 공정만을 수행하여 폴리비닐알코올 단섬유를 제조하며, 폴리(피발산비닐/아세트산비닐) 공중합체를 원료로 사용하므로써 비누화 반응용매로는 테트라하이드로퓨란(THF)과 같은 고휘발성 용매를 사용하는 대신에 메탄올 사용이 가능해졌고, 또한 비누화제로서는 수산화칼륨 이외에도 수산화리튬 또는 수산화나트륨 까지 폭넓게 적용이 가능하면서 전단조작이 간단하므로 폴리비닐알코올 마이크로피브릴 단섬유의 상업적 대량생산에 유리한 제조방법에 관한 것이다. |
