Zusammenfassung: | PURPOSE: A device for concealing an error using a motion vector of a neighboring macro block is provided to adaptively set a searching range according to the size of the motion vector of the neighboring macro block, thereby remarkably reducing a searching time. CONSTITUTION: An error detector(10) inputs an encoded bit stream, and detects whether an error is generated. If an MAE(Mean Absolute Error) is bigger than a preset threshold value while an error generation signal is inputted from the error detector(10), an error concealment controller(20) copies a macro block in the same position from a previous frame. If the MAE is smaller, the error concealment controller(20) calculates the MAE with maximum absolute values of motion vectors of the macro block, and copies a macro block having the smallest MAE from the previous frame, then conceals the error. A decoder(30) inputs an error-concealed image from the error concealment controller(20) to decode the image, and outputs the image.
본 발명은 이웃한 매크로블럭의 움직임 벡터를 이용한 에러 은닉 장치 및 방법에 관한 것으로, 특히, 현재 에러가 발생한 매크로블럭의 움직임이 주변 매크로블럭과의 움직임과 매우 상관성이 높다는 성질을 이용하여 주변 매크로블럭의 움직임 벡터의 크기에 따라 적응적으로 탐색범위를 설정하여 탐색 시간을 현저히 줄일 수 있도록 하는 에러 은닉 장치 및 방법에 관한 것이다. |
