telephone for communcating the character

PURPOSE: A telephone for transmitting/receiving character data is provided to detect character information being received to the telephone, thereby capable of printing them to a printer. CONSTITUTION: A telephone(100) is connected to a PSTN(Public Switched Telephone Network) or an Internet Server through the PSTN or an SMS(Short Message Server). A control unit(10) of the telephone(100) is connected to an office line interface unit(12). The office line interface(12) connects and disconnects the telephone(100) and the PSTN by ring and call signals. A voice processing unit(13) decodes voice data inputted from the PSTN, outputs the decoded data to a speaker of a voice input/output unit(14), modulates voice signal inputted through a microphone and then transmits the modulated signal to the outside through the PSTN. A character input detecting unit(11) connected to the control unit(10) detects data stream including character data from data inputted from the PSTN and then stores the character data at a storage unit(18) by the control unit(10). An LCD(Liquid Crystal Display) panel(16) is connected to the control unit(10) and displays sequentially character data stored at the storage unit(18). 본 발명은 유, 무선 전화기에 입력되는 발신자 정보, 단문메시지 및 이메일등을 프린터에 전송하여 출력할 수 있고, 컴퓨터로부터 문자데이터를 수신받아 통신망에 전송하도록 하는 문자데이터 송수신 전화기를 제공한다. 상기 목적을 위하여 본 발명은 복수의 입력신호중에 문자데이터를 검출하기 위한 문자데이터 검출수단; 상기 문자 데이터 검출부로부터 검출된 문자 데이터를 저장하기 위한 문자데이터 저장수단; 상기 문자데이터 저장부에 저장된 문자데이터를 프린터가 인쇄할 수 있도록 데이터 변환하고, 상기 변환된 데이터를 상기 프린터에 전송하는 데이터 변환부것이다.
