Zusammenfassung:PURPOSE: A method for preparing a water-soluble free amine chitosan is provided, to obtain a pure water-soluble free amine chitosan with a molecular weight of 1,000-100,000 Dalton. CONSTITUTION: The method comprises the steps of treating a solution of salts of an organic acid or an inorganic acid of chitosan oligosaccharide with a trialkylamine; adding an organic solvent to the solution to recover the chitosan oligosaccharide by removing an organic acid or an inorganic acid in the form of a trialkylamine salt; and treating the chitosan oligosaccharide solution with an inorganic acid and purifying the solution with an activated carbon/ion exchange resin column. Preferably the organic acid is selected from the group consisting of lactic acid, acetic acid, propionic acid, formic acid, ascorbic acid and tartaric acid; and the inorganic acid is selected from the group consisting of HCl, HNO3 and H2SO4. 본 발명은 순수한 수용성 유리 아민의 키토산을 제조하는 방법에 관한 것으로서, 보다 상세하게는 1) 키토산 올리고당의 유기산 또는 무기산 염의 용액을 염기인 트리알킬 아민으로 처리하고, 2) 상기 용액에 유기용매를 첨가하여 키토산 올리고당에 결합되어 있는 유기산 또는 무기산이 트리알킬 아민 염의 형태로 제거된 키토산 올리고당을 회수하고, 3) 상기에서 산이 제거된 키토산 올리고당 용액을 무기산 처리 후, 활성화된 탄소/이온교환수지(activated carbon/ion exchange resin) 컬럼으로 정제하여 1,000 ∼ 100,000 달톤의 분자량을 가진 순수한 수용성 유리 아민 키토산을 제조하는 것이다.
