Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE: A method for treating wastewater containing heavy metals using olivine is provided is provided to adsorb thus remove heavy metal ions in wastewater containing heavy metals such as Cu, Zn, Fe and Pb using fine powder of olivine that is an adsorption induction oxide mineral as an adsorbent. CONSTITUTION: In a wastewater treatment method for removing heavy metals by adding olivine to wastewater, the method for treating wastewater containing heavy metals using olivine comprises the processes of adding fine powder of olivine to wastewater containing heavy metals such as Cu, Zn, Fe and Pb in a certain weight ratio; agitating the solution at a rotational speed of 230 revolutions per minute for 4 days as maintaining reaction temperature of 25 deg.C; and adsorbing thus removing the heavy metals by filtering the agitated resulting solutions.
