Service Method for an Advance Announcement of Destination Arriving Using Mobile Communication Network

PURPOSE: A destination warning service method using a mobile communication network is provided to input a destination using an interactive message service, and to warn the arrival near the destination through an alarm or vibration of a terminal. CONSTITUTION: When a user inputs a desiring destination using a short message service through a terminal(201), a short message center searches a base station identification corresponding to the destination in base station database, to transmit the base station identification to the terminal(202). The terminal stores the base station identification(203) and monitors a paging channel(204). Whether a current base station identification transmitted through the paging channel is identical with the base station base station of the destination is compared(205). If not, the step 204 is repeated, and if identical, the arrival on the destination is warned using a bell or vibration(206).
