INK CARTRIDGE ATTACHING/SEPARATING APPARATUS FOR INKJET PRINTER

PURPOSE: An ink cartridge attaching/separating apparatus is provided to achieve improved user convenience by allowing ink cartridge to be easily attached/separated, while preventing damage of component parts and increasing stability. CONSTITUTION: An ink cartridge attaching/separating apparatus, comprises a carriage(40) having a support frame(41) supported at a guide rail(30), and a container(43) coupled to the support frame; an ink cartridge(50) arranged to be attachable/separatable to/from the container, and which has a latching protrusion formed at the top of the ink cartridge; a latching unit installed to the support frame, and which latches the latching protrusion of the ink cartridge mounted in the container during compression and releases the latching protrusion during restoration; and a rotating unit having a joint rotating at a predetermined angle, and which is arranged to the support frame. The rotating unit pushes the ink cartridge which is temporarily mounted in the container and compresses the latching unit during rotation in a direction, and permits restoration of the latching unit during rotation in the opposite direction.
