System and Process for Producing Animal Feed from Food Waste

PURPOSE: Provided are methods of producing animal feeds from food wastes by providing a dry, pelletized, fibrous organic material. Specifically, provided are methods of thickening/dewatering solids that contain substantial amounts of moisture, e.g. ground food waste. CONSTITUTION: A process for producing animal feed from food waste, comprises the steps of: (a) shredding of the food waste, resulting in ground food waste; (b) thickening of the ground food waste through the use of an amount, effective for the purpose, of an agglomerating polymer and a synthetic organic flocculent, resulting in a low moisture product and a separate liquid phase; (c) adding a dry carrier to the low moisture product; and (d) treating the liquid phase so as to provide a high purity effluent for recycling. 본 발명은 건조되고, 조립화(造粒化, pelletize)된 섬유상의 유기 물질을 제공함으로써 음식 쓰레기로부터 동물 사료를 생산하는 방법을 제공한다. 보다 상세하게는 본 발명은 분쇄되어진 음식쓰레기와 같이 상당량의 습기를 함유하고 있는 고형체를 농축(thickening)/탈수하는 방법에 관한 것이다.
