PURPOSE: A device for converting a BIFS text format into a BIFS binary format is provided to invert the BIFS text format into the BIFS binary format. CONSTITUTION: A data stream in a BIFS format(121) comprises two types of data, descriptions of scenes(122) and commands(123).
