Zusammenfassung:PURPOSE: Provided are a catalyst for removing carbon monoxide from a reformed gas, and a process for removing carbon monoxide from a reformed gas by passing the reformed gas over the catalyst. CONSTITUTION: The catalyst for removing carbon monoxide from a reformed gas comprises gold and ruthenium in a ratio by weight of between about 5:1 and about 1:5 on a support material selected from the group consisting of aluminum oxide, titanium oxide, zirconium oxide, cerium oxide, lanthanum oxide and mixtures thereof. The support material is aluminum oxide with a specific surface area of 50 m/g or more.
