Zusammenfassung: | PURPOSE: A method for testing a PCO(Public Call Office) interface function in an N-WLL(Narrowband-Wireless Local Loop) terminal is provided to certify the PCO interface function using only the N-WLL terminal without the infra interworking of a wireless communication system when testing the PCO interface function. CONSTITUTION: If a power is supplied to a terminal, a microprocessor is initialized as an idle state for a normal state(S1). The microprocessor judges whether a handset state of a telephone is the off-hook state(S2). If the handset state of the telephone is the off-hook state, the microprocessor receives a digital encoded DTMF(Dual Tone Multi Frequency) signal from a codec(S3). The microprocessor judges whether the DTMF signal received from the codec is identical to a predetermined specific data value(S4). If the DTMF signal is identical to the predetermined specific data value, the microprocessor is activated as a PCO control mode for receiving a new DTMF signal from the codec, and inverting a polarity of a tip/ring of the telephone or transmitting a metering pulse to the tip/ring of the telephone(S5). The microprocessor judges whether the handset state of the telephone is the on-hook state(S6). If the handset state of the telephone is the on-hook state, the microprocessor stops operations. |
