Zusammenfassung: | PURPOSE: A method for transmitting data and an interface for transmitting the data are provided to transmit the data between digital and RF(Radio Frequency) components of a base station. CONSTITUTION: A CPLD(Complex Programmable Logic Device)(40) is connected to a plurality of digital components and is connected to one end of the first set of parallel transmission media. The CPLD(40) receives transmission data and various uplink low rate static/control data from the plurality of digital components, multiplexes the transmission data or the various uplink low rate static/control data, and sends the transmission data and the various uplink low rate static/control data over the first set of parallel transmission media. A serializer(42) is connected to another end of the first set of parallel transmission media and one end of the first serial transmission media. The serializer(42) receives the transmission data and the various uplink low rate static/control signals sent by the CPLD(40) and sequentially sends the transmission data and the various uplink low rate static/control signals serially over the first serial transmission media. A transmitter(47) is connected to another end of the first serial transmission media. The transmitter(47) receives the transmission data and the various uplink low rate static/control signals sent by the serializer(42) and sends the transmission data and the various uplink low rate static/control signals over another transmission media.
