PROJECTION TELEVISION WITH CONVERGENCE CONTROLLING PROTRUSION

PURPOSE: A projection television with convergence controlling protrusions is provided to remove the matching or separating of any additional jigs, thereby improving the workability and preventing the reject due to the scratches or jig marks. CONSTITUTION: A projection television with convergence controlling protrusions includes a high luminance lamp, a light focussing/converting part for focussing and converting light projected from the high luminance lamp, a frame mounted to a front surface of the light focussing/converting part to serve as a reference fixing frame for the convergence control, a color separating/synthesizing part for separating the converted light into three primary colors of red, green and blue, a liquid crystal module to be illuminated by the three-colored light correspondingly, a projection lens for projecting the images of the liquid crystal module, and a screen for expanding and outputting the light projected from the projection lens, wherein convergence controlling protrusions(10) are formed in the every upper, lower, right and left parts as well as the center part of the frame(4) symmetrically in the vertical and horizontal direction.
