Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE: An external fixing device for a joint is provided to prevent the excessive relative rotation between both guides used to fix bones at the both sides of the joint, thus facilitating an operation. CONSTITUTION: The external fixing device for a joint, used to fix and treat a broken bone, comprises a first guide(24) provided with a slide unit to which a pin to be inserted into the bone at the one side of the joint is fixed and a second guide(28) provided with another slide unit to which a pin to be inserted into the bone at the other side of the joint is fixed, and an angle between the guides is adjustable. In addition, a connector consisting of a ball portion to be inserted into one of the guides and a rod portion to be inserted into the other one of the guides is provided. The rod portion of the connector is provided with a ring, and the guide containing the rod portion is formed with an inclined inner surface to restrict an inclination of the connector.
