Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE: A mask assembly for a CRT is provided to improve visibility by forming only a real bridge on the region which has a weak visibility. CONSTITUTION: A mask main body includes an effective screen portion(18) which passes or blocks the electron beams emitted from an electron gun, and is stretched in one of vertical or horizontal direction. A frame(14) sustains the stretched state of the mask main body and reinforces structural rigidity. The effective screen portion includes slots, dummy slots(20'), and a strip portion(22). The slots are mounted on a predetermined region containing the center of the effective screen portion, and the dummy slots are mounted on the outside of the predetermined region.
