Zusammenfassung:PURPOSE: Provided are a promoter of S-adenosyl-L-methionine: jasmonic acid carboxyl methyl transferase gene and a method for producing target protein in plants using the same, thereby producing plants having improved tolerance to various stresses. CONSTITUTION: The promoter of S-adenosyl-L-methionine: jasmonic acid carboxyl methyl transferase gene derived from Brassica campestris L. or Arabidopsis sp. is capable of inducing a target protein in a plant in response to the outer stresses. The promoter derived from Brassica campestris L. has the nucleotide sequence of SEQ ID NO. 1. The promoter derived from Arabidopsis sp. has the nucleotide sequence of SEQ ID NO. 2. The method for producing a target protein in plants comprises the steps of: inserting a gene encoding a target protein into the promoter of S-adenosyl-L-methionine: jasmonic acid carboxyl methyl transferase gene to construct a recombinant vector; transforming a plant with the recombinant vector; and giving stresses to the transformed plant to induce the expression of the target protein. 본 발명은 각각 서열번호 1과 서열번호 2로 표시되는 염기서열을 갖는, 배추에서 클로닝된 자스몬산 메칠화효소(NTR1) 유전자의 프로모터와 애기장대에서 클로닝된 자스몬산 메칠화효소(JMT) 유전자의 프로모터를 제공한다. 본 발명에 따른 프로모터는 식물체에 대한 화학 물질이나 상처 등의 외부 자극에 반응하여 활성화되므로, 상기또는유전자 프로모터에 인체 치료용 유전자나 유용한 대사 산물의 생합성에 관여하는 유전자를 포함한 다양한 유전자를 연결하여 이를 식물체에 도입한 후, 생산된 형질전환 식물체에 물리적 상처 등을 가하여 상기 형질전환 식물체로부터 대량의 목적 단백질을 얻을 수 있다.
