METHOD FOR CONVERTING INCOMING CALL DISPLAY TYPE IN MOBILE COMMUNICATION TERMINAL

PURPOSE: A method for converting an incoming call display type in a mobile communication terminal is provided to convert the incoming call display type when a subscriber does not carry the mobile communication terminal by converting the incoming call display type of the mobile communication terminal using a short message. CONSTITUTION: If a short message is received in a standby state, a control unit of a mobile communication terminal analyzes the received short message(303). The control unit judges whether the received short message is a short message for requesting that the incoming call display type of the mobile communication terminal is converted into a bell sound mode(305). If the short message is the bell sound mode conversion request short message, the control unit converts the incoming call conversion request message of the mobile communication terminal into the bell sound mode(307). The control unit judges whether the short message is a short message for requesting that the incoming display type of the mobile communication terminal is converted into a vibration mode(309). If the short message is the vibration mode conversion request short message, the control unit converts the incoming call display type into the vibration mode(311).
