Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE: An automotive information communication exchange system and a method for the same are provided to exchange automotive information between at least two automotive trading partners engaged in an automotive transaction. CONSTITUTION: A customer(46) is in communication with a dealer(30) via a standard user interface(48). Once communication has been established with the dealer(30), the consumer schedules an appointment to drop the automobile at the dealer. The dealer(30) has a plurality of applications, including automotive sales(50), automotive service and parts(52) and business operations(54). The application program interface(56) allows the dealer(30) to communicate with the communication system(24) for all necessary applications. The dealer(30) submits a transaction element through the communication system(24). 자동차 거래에 관계하는 자동차 거래 상대자 사이에서 정보를 교환하기 위한 방법 및 시스템이 제공된다. 상기 방법 및 시스템에 의해 자동차 거래 상대자들은 다른 거래 상대자들의 통신 시스템을 확보 및 이용하거나, 자신의 기존 통신 시스템을 변경하거나, 또는 복수의 수동 작업을 수행함이 없이 서로 통신할 수 있다. 특히, 상기 시스템 및 방법은 복수의 자동차 애플리케이션용 범용 스키마와, 거래 상대자들간 트랜잭션 요소의 경로 지정을 위한 경로 지정 시스템과, 상기 트랜잭션 요소의 관리를 위한 트랜잭션 관리 시스템을 포함한다.
