DEVICE FOR CONTROLLING OPERATION OF MAST IN FORKLIFT

PURPOSE: An operation controller of a mast in a forklift is provided to exactly control the operating height of the mast and to prevent the defect and the mis-operation without a rotary encoder. CONSTITUTION: An operation controller of a mast contains an operation height control input unit of the mast(10) to set the operating height of an inner mast; a position detection unit of the mast(20) formed by a sensing dog and an inductive sensor to generate variable voltage by the lifting speed of the sensing dog; a control unit(30) to detect the moving speed and the moving position of the inner mast by deciding signals from the position detection unit and to output a control signal by comparing the signals with input values of the operation height control input unit; and a motor(50) for a hydraulic pump to drive the inner mast upward and downward. Thereby, the operating height of the mast is controlled exactly. Moreover, the durability is improved by preventing the defect and the mis-operation.
