POWER ON/OFF RESERVATION METHOD IN MOBILE TERMINAL

PURPOSE: A power on/off reservation method in a mobile terminal is provided to minimize the current consumption of a mobile terminal by turning off unnecessary portions, maintaining the CPU in a deep sleep state, executing a time check function, and automatically turning on the power if a preset time comes. CONSTITUTION: In a standby state, a mobile terminal judges whether a reservation function key is inputted by a user(ST11,ST12). In case that the reservation function key is inputted, the mobile terminal checks whether a reservation input mode is selected(ST13). If the reservation input mode is selected, the mobile terminal inputs off time and AM or PM according to the user's selection(ST14). If the input of off time is completed, the mobile terminal inputs on time and AM or PM according to the user's selection(ST15). Then the mobile terminal checks whether input for time setting has been completed(ST16). If input for time setting has been completed, the mobile terminal is operated in a power on/off reservation mode(ST17).
