APPARATUS FOR TREATING TAR FLOWN OUT FROM COKE OVEN CHAMBER

PURPOSE: An apparatus for treating tar flown out from a coke oven chamber is provided to completely remove adhered tar, and enable settlement of manual work load and environmental management by integrating a drum cleaning unit with a sanding unit and equipping with a control means for automatically controlling the units. CONSTITUTION: The apparatus for treating tar flown out from a coke oven chamber comprises a drum cleaner installation frame(37) coupled to one side of the body of a jam cleaner frame(10); a drum frame(20) which is an integrated cleaning means with a double structure equipped with a plurality of cushion scrapers(21) and injection holes(24) and an injection pipe(26) at the front side of the installation frame(37); a driving control means consisting a pinion gear(30), a driving chain(39) and a control motor(38) for driving the drum frame(20); an injection pipe(26) inserted into an inner space(23) of a central shaft of the drum frame(20); sanding supply units for removing adhered tar by ejecting a sanding member to the injection pipe(26) in a high pressure when the injection holes(24) are agreed with the injection pipe(26) by a driving control means; and a central operating room control panel for controlling the control motor(38), a pressure control valve(40) and control valves of the sanding unit.
