MULTIPLE AUTOMATIC TEST APPARATUS IN INTERNET GATEWAY SYSTEM AND METHOD THEREBY

PURPOSE: A multiple automatic test apparatus in an Internet gateway system and a method thereby are provided to automatically carry out a test by configuring an Internet gateway system, such as an ITGS(Internet Telephony Gateway System) or a VoIP(Voice over Internet Protocol) system, in a multiple type. CONSTITUTION: A multiple automatic test apparatus in an Internet gateway system is comprised of a PC terminal part(31), a multi-port control part(32), a plurality of test devices(33a-33n), a reference Internet gateway part(34), a plurality of tested Internet gateway parts(35a-35n), and a network connection unit(36). The PC terminal part(31) transfers test commands and test results between a tester and the test devices(33a-33n). The multi-port control part(32) switches the subscriber lines of each test device(33a-33n) and the reference Internet gateway part(34) by the command of the PC terminal part(31), and makes a serial communication line connected between each test device(33a-33n) and the PC terminal part(31). Each test device(33a-33n) executes the test of each tested Internet gateway part(35a-35n), and carries out a call test to the reference Internet gateway part(34) after test completion at each tested Internet gateway part(35a-35n). The reference Internet gateway part(34) is used as a reference system for tests. The network connection unit(36) connects the reference Internet gateway part(34) with the tested Internet gateway parts(35a-35n) through network access lines.
