Zusammenfassung: | PURPOSE: A method for loading a dual processor in an MSC(Mobile Switching Center) is provided to give flexibility to the supporting of an optimized system and the development of a new system by supporting program loading to support functions to processors dependent on differentiated performances. CONSTITUTION: If power is supplied to an MSC, an MP(Main Processor) is turned on and the booters of each processor start(S101,S103). Each booter executes work to judge its own processor type and sends a control signal to a main CPU. The main CPU judges whether the MP is type A or type B(S105). The booters request loading to an OMP(Operation and Maintenance Processor) with processor type information and store loading types(S107). When power is supplied to the MSC, the OMP is also turned on and its booter starts(S109,S101). The booter of the OMP executes work to judge its own processor type and sends a control signal to the main CPU. The main CPU judges whether the OMP is type A or type B(S113). The main CPU reads an OS suitable for the OMP from a disk and loads it(S117). Then the main CPU loads a DBKG, a PL(Processor Loader) and a PLD according to the processor type of the OMP and makes the DBKG and the PL executed(S119). The PL reads an SSL from the disk, loads it, and makes it executed(S121). Then the PL waits for a loading request signal from MP(S123).
본 발명은 교환기에서 MP(Main Processor)의 종류에 상관없이 해당 프로세서에서 필요한 프로그램 로딩을 수행 할 수 있도록 함으로써 시스템에 유연성을 부여하고 새로운 시스템 개발이 용이하도록 한 이동통신교환기의 이중 프로세서 로딩방법에 관한 것으로, 이러한 본 발명은 교환기에 전원이 인가되면 각 프로세서의 부터가 시동되는 단계와, 메인 CPU가 MP의 프로세서 종류가 어떤 것인지를 판단하는 단계와, MP의 프로로세서에 따라 프로세서 종류에 대한 정보와 함께 로딩을 요구하고 로딩 종류를 저장하는 단계와, OMP의 부터가 시동되는 단계와, 상기 메인 CPU가 OMP의 프로세서 종류가 어떤 것인지를 판단하는 단계와, 상기 OMP의 프로로세서에 따라 OMP에 적합한 OS를 디스크에서 읽어 로딩하는 단계를 포함하여 이루어진다. |
