Apparatus and method for configuration information processing in switching system

PURPOSE: An apparatus and a method for processing configuration information of a switch are provided to process a configuration instruction and a configuration graphic instruction in a configuration instruction process unit through one interface by receiving configuration information from the configuration instruction process unit through an operator instruction process unit. CONSTITUTION: An instruction input and output unit(43) receives a configuration instruction for requesting configuration information with a text type and outputs configuration information with the text type. A configuration graphic output unit(47) receives a configuration graphic instruction for requesting configuration information with a graphic type and outputs configuration information with the graphic type. A configuration graphic process unit(45) converts the configuration graphic instruction received from the configuration graphic output unit(47) into a configuration instruction with the text type, converts configuration information into the graphic type, and provides configuration information with the graphic type to the configuration graphic output unit(47). An operator instruction process unit(41) analyzes the configuration instructions received from the instruction input and output unit(43) and the configuration graphic process unit(45), and judges whether configuration information is a result value by the configuration instruction provided from the instruction input and output unit(43) or the configuration graphic process unit(45). In case that configuration information is the result value by the configuration instruction provided from the instruction input and output unit(43), the operator instruction process unit(41) converts configuration information into the text type and provides configuration information with the text type to the instruction input and output unit(43). In case that configuration information is the result value by the configuration instruction provided from the configuration graphic process unit(45), the operator instruction process unit(41) provides configuration information to the configuration graphic process unit(45).
