WINDOWS EMULATION 80C196 TRAINER

PURPOSE: A windows emulation 80C196 trainer is provided to acquire the function of an 80C196 one-chip microcomputer and an application process using the 80C196 one-chip microcomputer by learning and to make a user automatically acquire system programming by making the user program from a reset address. CONSTITUTION: The trainer comprises a main board(10), an expansion board(20), a test board(40), and a display(30). On the main board, a CPU(Central Processing Unit)(11), a memory unit(12), a ROM(Read Only Memory) writer unit(13), an address decoder unit(14), a selection display unit(15), and a connector(19) for connection with the expansion board. An Intel 80C196 16-bit one-chip microcomputer is used for the CPU unit. The memory unit consists of a ROM(Read Only Memory)(122), an SRAM(Static Random Access Memory)(123), an LED(Light Emitting Diode)(124), and a latch(121). The ROM writer installed in the trainer writes a user program in an EEPROM(Electrically Erasable and Programmable Read Only Memory). A program run by the CPU is stored in the SRAM. A computer outputs the state of the CPU on a monitor to show the state to a trainer.
