Zusammenfassung: | PURPOSE: Provided is a novel manufacturing method of 1,2,3,9-tetrahydro-9-methyl-3-((2-methyl-1H-imidazol-1-yl))-4H-carbazol-4-on or its pharmaceutically acceptable salt in higher yield and purity than conventional methods. CONSTITUTION: The manufacturing method is characterized by reacting 1,2,3,9-tetrahydro-9-methyl-4H-carbazol-4-on of the formula(2) with 2-methylimidazole derivative of the formula(3) in a mixed solvent of organic solvent and water at room temperature to 150 deg.C fro 2-12 hours to manufacture 1,2,3,9-tetrahydro-9-methyl-3-((2-methyl-1H-imidazol-1-yl))-4H-carbazol-4-on of the formula(1) or its pharmaceutically acceptable salt.
