Device to manufacture resistor and method thereof

PURPOSE: A resistor element manufacturing apparatus and a method thereof are provided to enhance work efficiency and productivity, facilitate subsequent processes, improve product quality and reliability, reduce manufacture cost, and improve storage characteristic. CONSTITUTION: A resistor element manufacturing apparatus comprises material supplying device(10), a laser welding device(20), a laser generator, a resistor rolling device(40) and a cutting device. The material supplying device(10) supplies resistor material and copper terminals to the laser welding device(20). The laser welding device(20) includes an upper plate(21) and a lower plate(22) for guiding the resistor material and the copper terminals, two laser output lens(24) for melting the resistor material to weld with the copper, and a second guide roller(25) for transporting the resistor material, the copper terminals and the welded resistor. The resistor rolling device(40) rolls the weld resistor. The cutting device cuts the rolled resistor to supply to a subsequent process. 개시된 내용은 저항소자와 전극소재를 레이저 용접방법으로 제조함으로써 작업성 및 생산성을 향상시키고, 용접공차를 줄여 저항소자의 신뢰성을 향상시키며, 제조원가를 절감할 수 있도록 한 저항소자 제조장치 및 방법에 관한 것이다. 이를 위해 본 발명은 판상의 저항소체를 수용하고 투입하는 제 1롤러, 판상의 2개의 동단자를 칸막이를 사이에 두고 각각 수용하고 투입하는 제 2롤러, 상기 각 부재를 팽팽하게 투입되게 하는 제 1가이드롤러로 된 소재 투입장치; 상기 투입되는 저항소체 및 동단자를 그 홈을 통해 상하 유격없이 통과시키면서 저항소체의 양측면 하부에 각 동단자가 소정폭 겹쳐지게 안내하는 상판 및 하판, 상기 안내되는 저항소체의 양측면에 레이저빔을 주사하여 저항소체와 동단자를 겹쳐서 레이저 용접하는 2개의 레이저 출력부렌즈, 상기 용접된 용접 저항체와 맞물려 회전하면서 저항소체, 동단자, 용접 저항체를 당겨주어 강제 이송하는 제 2가이드롤러로 된 레이저 용접장치; 레이저를 발생시켜 레이저 출력부렌즈측으로 이송하는 레이저 발생장치; 레이저 용접장치로부터 용접되어 나온 용접 저항체를 순차 감아주는 제 3롤러, 용접 저항체가 제 3롤러에 팽팽하게 감기도록 하는 제 3가이드롤러로 된 저항체 감김장치; 및 제 3롤러에 감긴 용접 저항체를 소정의 폭으로 절단하여 후공정으로 투입하는 커팅장치로 구성되어 저항소체와 동단자를 레이저 용접하여 제조하는 것이다.
