METHOD FOR MEASURING CURRENT OF MOBILE COMMUNICATION TERMINAL USING HALL DEVICE

PURPOSE: A method for measuring a current of a mobile communication terminal using a hall device is provided to measure a consumption current of a mobile communication terminal easily and display the measured result in itself by mounting a simple hall device for generating a voltage in the vertical direction to a magnetic field in the mobile communication terminal. CONSTITUTION: A hall device(12) is inserted between two terminals(1,2) on a power source path through a power source unit(11) of a mobile communication terminal. A current flows between the terminals(1,2). When a magnetic flux is applied toward a ground, a voltage is generated between a V1 terminal and a V2 terminal of the hall device(12). A current consumed in the mobile communication terminal is calculated by calculating a voltage between the V1 terminal and the V2 terminal. A voltage between the V1 terminal and the V2 terminal is measured by connecting the V1 terminal and the V2 terminal to a car kit(14), and the current consumed in the mobile communication terminal is calculated at the outside of the terminal also. The corresponding consumption current can be calculated and displayed in the terminal by connecting the V1 terminal and the V2 terminal to a GPIO(General Purpose Input Output) port of a main CPU in the terminal.
