Zusammenfassung:PURPOSE: A method for preparing an impact modifier powder is provided, to obtain an impact modifier powder without using a flowing auxiliary and which impact modifier powder is applied to increase the impact strength of various matrix resins. CONSTITUTION: The method comprises the steps of preparing a polymer particle dispersion containing the polymer particles of first group and the polymer particles of second group, wherein the average particle size of the polymer particles of first group is larger than that of the polymer particles of second group by 50% or more and the total rubbery weight fraction of the polymer particles of first group and second group is 90 wt.% or more; and spray-drying the polymer particle dispersion. Preferably the polymer particles of first group have an average particle size of 10-5,000 nm; and the polymer particles of second group have an average particle size of 100-1,000 nm.
