Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE: A system and a method for home automation using self-control moving robot are provided to control various kinds of home appliance by real time transmitting data to the self-moving robot in home as connecting to the Internet with various communication device in remote site. CONSTITUTION: The system includes a moving robot(140) driving by receiving a control data of home appliance from a remote site, a service providing system(130) transmitting the control data to the moving robot and monitoring moving robot, and a user terminal(110) to provide the data to the moving robot by connecting to the service providing system. The moving robot includes a data transceiver receiving the control data for home appliance from the outsides and transmitting the operation state of moving robot to the outsides, an RF(Radio Frequency) module transmitting the received data to a specific home appliance, a detector detecting the environment information of robot and the operation state of robot through a sensor, a driving part moving the moving robot according to the driving command from the outsides and the detect result of detector, a controller controlling entire function of robot, and a database storing the data needed to move the robot.
