FUNCTIONAL ASSORTED FEED COMPOSITION FOR IMPROVING COLOR OF CULTIVATED ABALONE SHELL

PURPOSE: A functional assorted feed composition for improving color of cultivated abalone shell is provided, thereby the color of cultivated abalone shell can be similar to that of natural abalone shell. CONSTITUTION: The functional assorted feed composition for improving color of cultivated abalone shell contains fish meal, soybean wastes, seaweeds, wheat flour, squid liver oil, adhesive agent, vitamins and minerals. It is characterized by containing 1 to 3% of laver powder, and optionally 1% of paprika pigment, 1% of yeast Astaxanthin, 5% of brown seaweeds or 2% of Spirulina. The color of the abalone shell cultivated fed on the functional assorted feed is 7.5R 2/2 to 10R 2/2, while the color of the natural abalone shell is 7.5YR 3/2 to 10YR 3/2.
