METHOD FOR CONNECTING GROUP OF MOBILE TELEPHONES USING POSITION-BASED AND APPARATUS THEREFOR

PURPOSE: A method for connecting a group of mobile telephones using position-based and apparatus therefor is provided to request a call connection to many mobile terminals located in a predetermined area, and to connect with many responders or the first responder, so as to improve efficiency of the mobile terminals. CONSTITUTION: A taxi driver registers in a call connection service of a mobile terminal group(301). Location information on a mobile terminal of the taxi driver is stored in a location information server(303). If a call signal by a customer is supplied to a controller, the controller checks whether a location of the registered mobile terminal is within a predetermined location of the customer(305). If so, the controller controls many mobile terminals located in the predetermined location to generate call request signals(307). A calling exchange outputs the call request signals through a base station(309). The calling exchange connects a call requesting taxi company with a mobile terminal responding to a call.
