Cosmetic compositions containing tectorigenin

PURPOSE: Provided is a cosmetic composition containing tectorigenin which suppresses the expression of inducible nitric oxide synthase(iNOS) and consequently inhibits the production of nitric oxide(NO), thereby keeping cleanness of skin. CONSTITUTION: A cosmetic composition comprises 0.00001-0.1 wt.% of tectorigenin based on total weight of thereof. Furthermore, it comprises 0.0001-1.0 wt.% of vitamin C, 0.0001-1.0 wt.% of vitamin C each based on total dry weight thereof. Wherein tectorigenin, one of flavonoid derivatives, is contained in Belamcanda chinensis. And it inhibits the production of NO by suppressing the expression of iNOS in a skin cell, particularly, keratinocyte or fibroblast, and keeps the skin clean. 본 발명은 유도성 일산화질소 합성효소(inducible nitric oxide synthase: iNOS)의 발현을 억제함으로써 일산화질소(NO)의 생성을 저해하여 청결한 피부의 유지를 가능케 하는 화장료 조성물에 관한 것이다. 본 발명에 따른 화장료 조성물은 텍토리게닌(tectorigenin)을 함유한다.
