PURPOSE: A thermosetting resin toilet board with a metal pattern and a method for manufacturing thereof is provided to make a resin toilet board look strong as a metal board by forming the pattern of the thermosetting resin toilet board as the metal pattern, which is the same as a metal film. CONSTITUTION: In the thermosetting resin toilet board(40) with the metal pattern and the method for manufacturing thereof, a phenol resin impregnated paper and a melamine resin impregnated pattern paper are included. The phenol resin impregnated paper is formed by impregnating a kraft paper into the phenol resin and drying it. The melamine resin impregnated pattern paper is formed by impregnating many print papers into the melamine resin and drying them. The phenol resin impregnated paper and the melamine resin impregnated pattern paper are laid in order and heat is applied to them and they are pressed by a press for the fixed time and a complete product is formed. 본 발명은 열경화성 수지화장판의 무늬 패턴을 스테인레스 스틸판과 동일한 금속 무늬패턴으로 형성하여 금속판처럼 강하고 고급스러운 느낌을 줄 수 있는 열경화성 수지화장판을 제공함에 있는 것이다. 종래에는 수지화장판 표면에 얇은 박판형태로 된 별도의 금속박판(스테인레스, 알루미늄)이 접합시킴으로써 강하고 외관이 미려한 반면에 스크레치로 인해 상품성이 떨어지고, 금속박판은 전량 외국으로부터 수입하고 있어 가격이 고가이다는 단점이 있다. 이에 본 발명에서는 페놀수지 함침지와 멜라민수지 함침무늬지를 차례로 적층시킨 후 열을 가하면서 일정시간 동안 프레스로 압착시켜 완제품을 성형하는 열경화성 수지화장판 제조방법에 있어서, 상기 멜라민수지 함침무늬지는 금속 색상을 갖는 인쇄지로 구성되고, 수지에 함침 건조시켜서 된 투명한 오버레이지를 페놀수지 함침지와 멜라민수지 함침무늬지가 조합되는 그 위에 적층시키는 공정과, 상기 프레스에는 금속특유의 헤어라인을 세공한 금속박판(10)이 고정되어 상기 금속박판에 의해 압착되는 종이에 금속패턴 무늬를 형성하는 공정을 포함하는 구성으로 됨을 특징으로 하는 금속 무늬패턴을 갖는 열경화성 수지화장판 제조방법 및 상기 제조방법을 통해 제조되는 금속 무늬패턴을 갖는 열경화성 수지화장판.
