2000 DEVICE AND METHOD FOR CONFIRMATING VOCODER BOARD ALGORISM LOADING IN IMT-2000 BASE-STATION CONTROLLER

PURPOSE: An apparatus and a method for confirming the loading of a vocoder board algorithm in an IMT-2000 BSC(Base Station Controller) are provided to confirm whether the vocoder board algorithm is normally loaded and executed through a voice when the vocoder board algorithm is loaded in a DSP(Digital Signal Processor) of a vocoder board. CONSTITUTION: A plurality of flash memories(101) store a plurality of vocoder algorithms, respectively. A CPU(102) receives a vocoder algorithm conversion control signal from an access control processor, and selects an address line of a corresponding flash memory among a plurality of flash memories(101) and simultaneously outputs a reset control signal. A vocoder board(100) has a plurality of DSPs(103) for receiving the reset control signal from the CPU(102), reading and executing a corresponding algorithm among a plurality of vocoder algorithms stored in the flash memories(101), and extracting a loading testing voice data stored in the read algorithm to decode the extracted loading testing voice data. A codec(200) receives the loading testing voice data outputted from a corresponding DSP among a plurality of DSPs(103) and converts the received loading testing voice data into an analog signal(200). A transmitter/receiver(300) receives the analog loading testing voice data outputted from the codec(200) and outputs the received analog loading testing voice data to an operator(300). 본 발명은 ＩＭＴ-2000 제어국에서의 보코더 보드 알고리즘 로딩 확인장치 및 방법, 더욱 상세하게는 보코더 보드내의 DSP로 보코더 보드 알고리즘을 로딩시킬 때, 그 알고리즘이 정상적으로 로딩되었는지의 여부를 사용자로 하여금 음성을 통해 확인할 수 있도록 해주는 ＩＭＴ-2000 제어국에서의 보코더 보드 알고리즘 로딩 확인장치 및 방법에 관한 것으로서, 본 발명에 의한 ＩＭＴ-2000 제어국에서의 보코더 보드 알고리즘 로딩 확인장치 및 방법에 의하면, 보코더 보드내의 DSP로 보코더 보드 알고리즘을 로딩시킬 때 그 알고리즘이 로딩됨과 동시에 운용자에게 그 확인 메시지를 출력시켜 줌으로써, 운용자로 하여금 보다 간편하고 빠르게 알고리즘 로딩 확인 작업을 수행할 수 있도록 해준다는 뛰어난 효과가 있다.
