AIR FILTER IN FORM OF WIRE WOVEN MESH SIEVE WITH ACTIVATED CARBON ATTACHED AND MANUFACTURING METHOD THEREOF

PURPOSE: An air filter in the form of wire woven mesh sieve with activated carbon attached is provided, which can increase collecting efficiency of hazardous gas from industrial area and reduce pressure drop through the filter, thereby saving power consumption. The filter is simple in the constitution and can be made in various forms due to flexible supporting material. CONSTITUTION: The air filter comprises the followings: (i) an air filter (1) which is made by an aluminum plate casing (6), non-woven fabric (5), a wire woven mesh sieve (2) of polyethylene or metal and activated carbon (4); (ii) a wire woven mesh sieve (2) made of polyethylene or metal to which activated carbon is attached with a binder (3) made of polyurethane; (iii) a binder (3) that is made of polyurethane resin or silicon resin without any solvent for binding activated carbon; and (iv) an air filter in the form of plate, zig zag and tubular.
