Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE: A method for driving a plasma display panel is provided to reduce a probability that a pseudo contour phenomenon can be generated due to a time division gray level display. CONSTITUTION: According to the method, a gray level display is performed by dividing a frame, which is a unit display period of a plasma display panel, into eight subfields(SF1-SF8) of different display times. And the temporal arrangement of the above subfields is varied as to the frame. A temporal arrangement as to odd-numbered subfields is different from a temporal arrangement as to even-numbered subfields. 본 발명에 따른 구동 방법은, 플라즈마 표시 패널의 단위 표시 주기인 프레임을 서로 다른 표시 시간의 서브필드들로 분할하여 계조 표시를 수행하는 시분할 구동 방법에 있어서, 서브필드들의 시간적 배열이 프레임에 대하여 변하도록 설정하는 것이다.
