Zusammenfassung:PURPOSE: A system for automatic nitrogen treatment of sewage and wastewater and a method thereof are provided to improve efficiency of sewage and wastewater treatment by automatically control aeration and other treatment processes. CONSTITUTION: Sewage and wastewater is flown to an intermittently aerated bacterial reaction tank(1) by an inflow water supply pump(2). A concentration detector(20) automatically detects change of nitrogen concentration in and out of the intermittently aerated bacterial reaction tank(1). A controller(14) determines aeration time and anoxic time for nitrification and denitrification. Air suppliers(7-1,7-2) provide air to the intermittently aerated bacterial reaction tank(1). This air is diffused by diffusers(3-1,3-2). Stirrers(5-1,5-2) stir bacteria and pollutants in the intermittently aerated bacterial reaction tank(1). Bacterial floc containing mixture of the bacteria and the pollutants is settled to high concentration in a penetration tank(9). 본 발명은 하·폐수 처리 자동화 시스템 및 그 방법에 관한 것으로서, 처리공정에 유입되는 하·폐수의 유량 및 농도(질소, 유기물), 온도 등 외적인 요인의 변화에 따라 생물학적 하·폐수 처리공정 폭기조 내의 질소농도가 심하게 변동되더라도 질소 농도측정장치와 제어부를 통해 자동으로 폭기공정과 그 밖의 하,폐수 처리공정을 자동으로 제어함으로써, 보다 경제적이고 효율적으로 하,폐수를 처리할 수 있는 하,폐수 처리자동화 시스템 및 그 방법을 제공한다.
